Home Learning

We are excited to introduce a new and engaging approach to home learning for all of our children at Olive Hill! Our aim is to extend the children's understanding of the concepts we explore in the classroom and bring the joy of learning into your homes.

Our new home learning program is designed to be fun, flexible, and enriching. It offers a 'menu' of ideas covering a range of subjects across our curriculum, ensuring there is something to captivate every child's interest. While participation in the home learning activities is optional, we strongly encourage children to dive in and explore the exciting projects and tasks we have prepared. The number of activities that the children choose to complete is up to them. They may wish to complete one or all of the menu.

Please note that while our home learning menus are an exciting addition, our expectations for weekly Times Tables practice (on Times Tables Rock Stars or Times Table Clubs), reading, and spelling at home remain unchanged. These activities are crucial for supporting your child's development in maths and English and we appreciate your continued support in ensuring they are completed regularly.
